“Extraordinary theatre experiences that educate, challenge, and inspire young people” 

We at Infinithéâtre are pleased to continue our mission to develop new works for the stage and cultivate new relationships with our future writers, performers and audiences through our work with local schools. Action-Infini is our outreach program to schools, developed to help us bridge the gap between art and education. Aimed at students and teachers from Secondary 3 through CEGEP and into University, Action-Infini seeks to bring students to the theatre and the theatre to the classroom. 

Infinithéâtre is the only theatre company in Québec with a mandate to bridge linguistic divides and to promote and produce exclusively new works by Québecois playwrights! Thus Infinithéâtre provides an excellent way to expose our youth to theatre that is cutting-edge and relevant to their world. 

Our main venue, the Bain St-Michel, because of its unique architecture and atmosphere is also an excellent place to introduce young people to the theatre. The space is a re-purposed swimming pool that demonstrates that plays do not have to take place in regal venues with velvet curtains. Artistic expression can happen anywhere, often where you least expect it. 

Through this program, Infinithéâtre offers the following to students and their teachers: 

• Copies of the play for study. The scripts for this season are all unpublished new works but if desired, we can make copies of the script available for study.
• A Teacher's Aid package that includes information on our company, the artists involved and in-depth analysis of the play, as well as ideas for classroom discussion.
  
• A guest speaker in the classroom.
  
• The amazingly low group rate of $10 per ticket! (Regular student rate is $15.)
  
• A post-performance talk-back session with the actors and the stage manager.
  
• Follow-up classroom visit after the play, if requested.
