We know that cultural experiences not only have a positive impact on learning, allowing students to develop open-mindedness, curiosity and critical judgement, they also add an exciting and engaging element to the school curriculum.
Infinithéâtre is Montréal's only English language company solely dedicated to developing and producing works by Québec writers with the equally important mandate of integrating theatre into education. The ACTION-INFINI school outreach program not only makes theatre accessible with provocative, relevant themes that appeal to young minds, but is also affordable at only $10 per student with free entry to educators/chaperones.
When planning extracurricular activities for the year, keep in mind the free support tools we provide as part of the program.
· Copies of the script with a synopsis of the play for study
· Online character studies, references and questions for discussion
· An opportunity for your class to meet with the director and/or playwright before the show. (We even make classroom visits!)
· Post-show talkback with the actors and director
· Special matinée show times to better suit your scheduling needs
