Pipeline, Infinithéâtre’s annual series of free public readings, will present four new Québec plays the weekend of December 8th to 11th at the Bain St-Michel (5300, rue St-Dominique).
Admission is pay-what-you-can/$10 suggested
Through the white heat of a public presentation, the strengths and flaws of a script in development become more apparent. The Pipeline play reading series is a unique opportunity for you, our audience, to dig deep into the creative process and voice your opinions. Montréal's finest actors bring never-before-seen characters to life in stories from veteran and novice alike. Your valuable input will help to shape Infinithéâtre's future programming and directly impact Montréal's Anglo theatre scene.
As part of Infinithéâtre's ongoing efforts to bring the best Québécois writing to Montréal stages, the series features the top-rated scripts from our Write-On-Q! playwriting competition. They are selected by an independent jury, chaired this year by Maureen Labonté, Co-Director of the Banff Playwrights Colony and a highly respected dramaturge, teacher and translator who was chair of the Siminovitch Prize jury for the last three years.
